Recording
Recording projects come in all forms and stages of the process. We’re ready to work with any methodology that you prefer, whether cutting live or building track by track.
Our philosophy is to enable an artist to see their vision realized with total authorship and control of their work, whether they are a band or a solo artist. We’re also ready and capable to collaborate wherever you determine it might be needed, with a number of excellent Austin musicians on call if backing or overdubs are needed.
Mixing
The mixing process is where the impact, balance, and effect of your recording is determined.
Do you want to hear spacious stereo and crossfades? Or is your song best served by a centered, mid-forward, approach? Our goal is to listen and understand what you want from a mix and deliver something that leaves you with no ambiguity. The process begins with clear communication and attention to your intention. We’ve gathered hundreds of credits over the years on records with a wide variety of styles.
Mastering
Finishing a record can become stressful in the final steps. Our work is always goal oriented, as we’ve seen many projects remain unnecessarily stalled at the last stages. Our experience in managing productions can streamline and demystify this process for you. We’ve gathered many credits mixing records, and we can master and prepare for pressing entirely in house. There are many other mix engineers and mastering engineers we’ve worked with who we often entrust with our own projects, and would be glad to send you to the most appropriate ears for your style of music.
